Angela Stathi
Angela is a C-Level Executive, Board Member, Advisor and Chair to large corporates, multilaterals and growth companies in the fields of finance, sustainability and emerging tech. She has experience in corporate governance, product innovation and strategy, hiring and developing people, financing and growing businesses. As a relationship builder, Angela is able to influence board members, clients, partners and investors.
She serves as a Dealmaker for the UK’s Office for Investment and advises the European Innovation Council’s €10bn Fund and the NATO DIANA programme. As Founder of Zyndeo and Co‑Founder of Brazil Tech Connect and S2C Ventures, Angela connects global tech ecosystems and governments with high‑potential scale‑ups. She also chairs Digital Boost and serves on the FCA’s Financial Services Consumer Panel, guiding responsible innovation and consumer‑focused policy.
Angela spent most of her career in international blue-chip companies in the financial services and technology sectors. She worked with credit rating agencies such as Moody’s Investors Service and Fitch Ratings, as well as asset management groups like BNP Paribas and Schroders, in roles involving strategy, product innovation, business development technology and operations. In these roles, Angela worked with the ExCo on strategic initiatives including building new departments and teams, working on transformational projects and product innovation.
With deep passion to help transform people’s lives and economies, during her Executive MBA, Angela ventured into entrepreneurship and became the CEO of a business accelerator where she worked with university spin-outs, VCs, philanthropists, the private and public sectors to help entrepreneurs to turn innovative ideas into products and services and raise over £20m in investments that created 400 new roles.
Angela frequently speaks at international forums in front of the public, governments and media. She also writes articles, designs and delivers trainings on Organisational Development, Design Thinking, Corporate Governance, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Emerging Tech and Growth.
As an independent advisor, Angela works with multiple clients, including VC and PE firms, multilaterals, and large corporates where she provides advice and guidance to technology-driven companies on sustainability, customer-centric product design, strategy and the ethical deployment of emerging technologies, such as AI and quantum computing.
Angela holds an MBA from London Business School, the FT Board of Directors Postgraduate Diploma, and several certifications in Sustainability, AI, Human-Centered Design and Investments. She is a Cambridge Judge Business School Rising Women in Leadership scholar and has received multiple awards, including the Women of Excellence Award from the Women Economic Forum and an Achievement Award from Moody’s, recognising her for outstanding contributions to strategy, product innovation, and leadership. Angela's international career and multicultural background equipped her with skills to navigate global markets and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
She is a member of BoardWave, a Founding Member of CHIEF and the Chapter Zero Director’s Forum in the UK. As a DEI, Climate, Science, and Technology champion, Angela supports organisations seeking to elevate climate-related discussions on boards and enhance the representation of women and diverse candidates in both board and senior leadership roles. Angela also supports organisations that aim to inspire women and girls to pursue careers in mathematics and science by fostering digital and entrepreneurial skills.
